Our compostable hinged takeaway boxes are made from bagasse, recycled sugarcane which contains 99% less embodied carbon than polystyrene. They are made in a high heat, high pressure process. They come in a range of sizes and are great for hot, wet or oily foods as well as being study and economic. This natural material has great thermal properties but doesn't trap condensation like plastic.
Or consider our compostable Food Cartons instead, made from sustainably-sourced paper board with a water-based and compostable grease-resistant lining. They feature leak-proof webbed corners and fold-in flaps to give a secure closure. Ideal for pasta, pie, mash and gravy and all sorts of hot treats.
